CRM Team Build

Challenge

Our client needed to hire a maternity cover to oversee their CRM team. However, our client also needed the new appointment to design and deliver a new CRM strategy to further the brands’ ability to engage with, and grow their customer base

Once this appointment had been made, our client also needed to grow their team and add in additional campaign planning and development resource to be able to deliver upon their new CRM strategy

Solution

CVM People supported our client design the scope for the new Head of CRM which factored in the growing strategic focus of the role

We also worked closely with our client to map out the skills gaps within their existing CRM team, and support the creation of a new CRM Operating model

In partnership with the leadership team, we helped design all the new job descriptions and scope the deliverables for interim consultants to deliver specific projects

We were retained to manage the recruitment of all the appointments as part of a fixed project fee

Results

We successfully appointed the new interim Head of CRM

We hired 10 permeant CRM planning execs for our client over the space of 12 months

We also supplied a further 6 junior CVM execs to support the CRM team on an interim basis and continued to add in interim resource for peak times in their email marketing calendar

Since the successful completion of this project, we have supported the brand consistently in recent years with a further 20+ appointments including being selected to manage an exec search for a Head of Loyalty and Membership
