Product Owner – Insurance Tech
Location: London/Hybrid (2 days on site)
Salary: £75,000 – £80,000 + bonus & excellent benefits

They’re seeking a Product Owner to help modernise underwriting systems and decommission legacy policy systems.
About the Role
As a Product Owner, you’ll work closely with underwriting stakeholders and tech teams to drive the product roadmap and deliver functional outcomes. You’ll prioritize and manage the backlog, ensure stakeholder alignment, and guide the team to deliver high-quality solutions.
We are specifically looking for a Product Owner with a strong technical background in insurance, ideally within underwriting. Although underwriting knowledge is important, we need someone with experience in product ownership, focusing on systems within a technical context.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the product roadmap aligned with business goals.
- Manage the backlog, prioritize features, and ensure timely delivery.
- Engage with underwriting stakeholders and technical teams to align on priorities.
- Focus on customer-centric solutions and drive continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
Must Haves:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner in insurance or financial services.
- Strong knowledge of underwriting and policy management systems.
- Technical acumen with Agile expertise (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable:
- Experience with insurance policy admin software or digital/automation.
