Power BI Developer (3 Month Contract)
Salary: Inside IR35 – Negotiable

Our client is looking for an experienced Power BI Developer to join their dedicated Power BI team on a contract basis. This role requires a technically proficient professional who is available for an immediate start.
Our client is looking for a highly skilled Power BI Developer with a strong back-end expertise to support data extraction, model development, and performance optimisation. You will be working with Databricks to pull and manipulate data, engaging in both new development projects and enhancements of existing models. The role requires expertise in building semantic models, writing complex DAX queries, and optimising Power BI reports.
You will collaborate with trading and finance stakeholders, analysing sales, new customer, and broker data, while working closely with testers, engineers, and other BI Developers. The position reports directly to the Head of BI.
What are we looking for?
- Proficient in SQL, with a strong ability to query and manipulate large datasets.
- Experience in building and optimising semantic models within Power BI.
- Advanced DAX skills for writing and optimising queries.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence business decisions.
- 4-5 years of experience in Power BI focused role.
- Experience with front-end report development and visualisation.
