The Role
As Head of Application Delivery, you will:

  • Oversee delivery for key projects and value streams, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
  • Manage relationships with 3rd-party software suppliers, ensuring timely, secure, and efficient delivery.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including executive sponsors and product owners, to align technology solutions with business strategy.
  • Plan and prioritize software functionality delivery across teams and projects.
  • Provide proactive support to programs and projects, developing actionable plans to optimize delivery.
  • Translate business requirements into technology roadmaps with clear benefits and costings.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement across the teams.
  • Identify and mitigate risks affecting platform delivery, quality, or performance.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve software functions, aligning with architectural standards.


About You

You will have:

  • 5+ years in senior technology leadership, ideally in application delivery within insurance.
  • Proven experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and fostering high performance.
  • Strong vendor management and contract negotiation skills.
  • A solid background in software delivery within a regulated environment.
  • Commercial acumen with experience managing budgets in complex, multi-supplier settings.
  • A history of building successful teams and delivering against measurable objectives.
