DevOps Engineering Manager

€70,000 – €80,000+ bonus and benefits
We have an exciting opportunity in a leading insurance organisation, with a strong reputation for excellence in their industry. Operating across multiple continents, they deliver specialized services to a diverse client base, leveraging decades of experience and a commitment to innovation. We’re seeking a DevOps Engineering Manager to spearhead innovation in cloud infrastructure, drive automation, and inspire a high-performing engineering team. In this role, you’ll take charge of a dedicated DevOps team, overseeing the development and enhancement of cloud and hybrid systems. You’ll lead efforts to streamline operations, optimize workflows, and foster a culture of continuous improvement, ensuring our platforms are efficient, scalable, and future-ready.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Recruit, mentor, and lead a team of DevOps professionals, building expertise and capacity.
- Architect and maintain cutting-edge cloud solutions using tools like Terraform and CI/CD pipelines.
- Collaborate with technical teams to refine deployment strategies and improve time-to-market.
- Introduce monitoring, scaling, and automation practices to boost platform resilience.
- Lead initiatives to standardize and streamline cloud-based solutions for reusability across teams.
- Manage third-party resources, ensuring high-quality delivery of infrastructure solutions.
What You Bring
- Advanced knowledge of infrastructure-as-code tools, containerization, and deployment pipelines.
- Familiarity with data processing tools such as Databricks or SQL-based solutions.
- 5+ years in a DevOps leadership role with hands-on experience in cloud platforms like Azure.
- A proven track record of driving process improvements and implementing automation.
- Passion for agile methodologies and fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
