We’re looking for a Data Product Owner to work within a specialist business unit that focuses on innovation, technology, and data. This role will see you play a pivotal part in delivering cutting-edge solutions to achieve strategic business goals.
You’ll be embedded within a cross-functional value stream, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise product enhancements and manage change requests. This is your chance to influence the future of data capabilities within a dynamic, fast-paced team.
What You’ll Do:
- Develop and maintain a multi-year product vision and roadmap based on market and customer needs.
- Work closely with stakeholders to design strategies, refine requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage the product backlog to provide a steady flow of deliverables for the team.
- Collaborate with the delivery team during Agile events such as stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
- Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the business value of delivery increments is understood and prioritised.
- Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners, fostering productive collaboration.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner, particularly in the data space.
- A track record of working on large, complex projects or programmes and delivering lasting stakeholder value.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
- Experience in Agile delivery teams, backlog management, and driving business value through data products.
Bonus Skills:
- Knowledge of the insurance industry or experience with Lloyd’s of London.
- Certified Agile Product Owner qualifications.
- Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
