Director of Sales and Strategic Account Management
Homebased: with travel to midlands / southern sites
Package: £120k -£150k + package
Our client is a popular FCA regulated brand, whose B2B client base includes some of the leading household names in the UK. They are currently going through an exciting time of change as they look to re-fresh their products and propositions and invest in digital services. Our client recognises that there is a lot of untapped potential within their existing clients when it comes to the development of existing services and growth. Therefore, this role would suit someone who not only enjoys managing significant, strategic B2B relationships, but also has a natural passion and flare for sales and would be excited by identifying opportunities to grow and develop these key accounts.
The role is incredibly broad and includes accountability for P&L performance and planning as well as the full sales lifecycle (acquisition and retention). The role will also include relationship management (internal and external), structuring account development processes, and working to develop new customer propositions (and products), and market insight to support growth in their most exciting sector.
Key experience required:
- Strong leadership experience; managing large sales and account teams as well as managing relationships up to exec / board level
- Significant hands-on experience in sales and account management
- Strong commercial skills
- Engaging communicator, confident in working out in the field with different personalities and networking
- Experience working within financial services or telecommunications is advantageous
