Salary: £75,000 – £80,000

About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a forward-thinking insurance company with ambitious growth plans. We’re looking for a Data Product Owner to work within a specialist business unit that focuses on innovation, technology, and data. This role will see you play a pivotal part in delivering cutting-edge solutions to achieve strategic business goals.

You’ll be embedded within a cross-functional value stream, collaborating with stakeholders to prioritise product enhancements and manage change requests. This is your chance to influence the future of data capabilities within a dynamic, fast-paced team.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain a multi-year product vision and roadmap based on market and customer needs.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to design strategies, refine requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage the product backlog to provide a steady flow of deliverables for the team.
  • Collaborate with the delivery team during Agile events such as stand-ups, planning, and retrospectives.
  • Act as the voice of the customer, ensuring the business value of delivery increments is understood and prioritised.
  • Build strong relationships across internal teams and external partners, fostering productive collaboration.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner, particularly in the data space.
  • A track record of working on large, complex projects or programmes and delivering lasting stakeholder value.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with an ability to prioritise competing demands effectively.
  • Experience in Agile delivery teams, backlog management, and driving business value through data products.


Bonus Skills:

  • Knowledge of the insurance industry or experience with Lloyd’s of London.
  • Certified Agile Product Owner qualifications.
  • Familiarity with tools like Jira, Confluence, or similar collaboration platforms.
