When it comes to recruitment we help clients find executive and specialist skills in Customer Value Management, and work with candidates to help manage their careers, not just the next role.
We are committed to protecting the privacy of your personal data and we summarize here our policies regarding the collection, use and transfer of your personal data, the security measures we employ to protect such data and your rights and choices with regard to access or use of such data.
WHAT PERSONAL DATA DO WE COLLECT?
We collect a variety of personal data in order to provide our consulting and recruitment services. This data is processed on the lawful basis of legitimate interest and is stored in a secure, proprietary and highly confidential database accessible only by CVM People employees.
We capture personal data from candidates and consultants which typically includes employment history, degree(s) and other qualifications, languages and other skills as well as contact information. It may also include, age, nationality and gender, compensation details, a record of our contact history with you and comments, views or references from third parties and we also retain a copy of your CV (when provided).
For suppliers and clients, we hold contact and billing information in order to fulfil our contractual obligations.
In addition to information provided by you, we may gather information from LinkedIn, Jobsites, Google, Company websites, press and periodicals and other publicly available sources.
HOW DO WE USE AND PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
By agreeing to working with CVM People to help you find a new role or consulting engagement you indicate your willingness to share and have your information stored by CVM People and to be considered, when appropriate, for a permanent role or contract. We only ever share your profile with clients once we have received your agreement to submit, and never on a speculative basis unless you have specifically asked us to do so.
HOW DO WE SECURE YOUR PERSONAL DATA?
We are committed to taking all reasonable and appropriate steps to protect the personal information that we hold from misuse, loss, or unauthorised access. We do this by having in place a range of appropriate technical and organisational measures. Our internal policies and procedures are designed to help ensure we safeguard the privacy and accuracy of all data we collect or process. These include measures to deal with any suspected data breach.
If you suspect any misuse or loss of or unauthorised access to your personal information please let us know immediately.
To the extent that we disclose personal data to clients or third parties, we will request that they properly protect the security and confidentiality of such information and otherwise process such data in accordance with applicable law.
HOW LONG DO WE KEEP YOUR DATA?
For candidates and consultants we will generally keep your personal data for no longer than 10 years from the last contact after which it will be destroyed if it is no longer required for the purpose(s) for which it was obtained.
For suppliers and clients we will keep your data for as long as is needed to fulfil our contractual and legal obligations in accordance with applicable law.
YOUR RIGHTS
Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to obtain access to your personal data; to have it updated or corrected if it is inaccurate or incomplete; to request that we restrict its processing or remove your data entirely from our system. When asked to remove a record from our database, CVM People will retain minimal information to ensure we do not contact you or collect such information again.
